Strategic Considerations for Booklet Development Across Multiple Locations

What is the best course of action – developing a brand new booklet or multiple locations sharing one booklet?

This is a question we receive often, and we have provided a simple breakdown so your agency can choose which option is best for you!

SHARING A BOOKLET

If you have multiple agencies all in one state, this is the best option for you! It is both cost and time effective, since ordering one book for multiple locations often allows agencies to reach price breaks and since adding an additional location to an existing booklet does not require going through the entire development process.

There are 2 ways to include multi-locations in one book. We can either include contact information for both locations on the front cover (including check boxes to select the correct location) or create a separate front and back cover for each location.

With either option, we will change any specific location instances throughout the booklet to reference the “number/address on the front or back cover of this booklet” so that it will apply to all agencies without confusing the patient with multiple locations’ information.

If this is the best choice for your agency, you can place a reorder on our website as usual and provide the information for the new location in the “Details from your agency” field.

DEVELOPMENT

The development route is recommended when you have agencies across multiple states or agencies that are under one parent company but have different names, logos, branding, etc.

Each state has its own set of guidelines, and we find that combining multiple state regulations in one booklet can not only be confusing for patients but can also make the booklets larger, affecting the cost.

Simiarly, we know branding is an important component to each agency, and we do our best to make each booklet match the individual agency. This allows ease of organizing materials while also keeping each agency its own entity.

In order to make the development process as convenient for you as possible, it is all facilitated through our website (medforms.com). You will need to click “Create Account” and once logged in, you’ll click the “Develop New Booklet” button under the booklet type you’d like to develop (example images below):

From there, you will complete the relevant development form and pay a one-time setup of $450 fee online.

Once MedForms receives all development items from your agency, you will receive draft #1 in about 4 weeks. Our Development Team will automatically include all required state-specific information, federal regulations, and accrediting body information (if applicable).
