For your convenience, MedForms has an in-house template for whichever booklet you’re needing that stays updated and compliant with all regulatory requirements. Though you’re welcome to use our content, your booklet is uniquely yours, customized to fit your agency’s specific needs and preferences. When you’re brainstorming ideas on changes you may like to make to your booklet, here are a few pointers to remember:
If you have a logo or stylistic change – To make your booklet look cleaner and more professional, if you have a logo change, we’ll need a vector file of it or of any other graphics that you’d like to include (for example, a signature at the end of a Welcome Letter). This is usually a .ai or .eps file. These formats smooth out the uploading process and make your logo or graphic appear neatly on your booklet cover, your booklet’s Welcome Letter, your forms, and wherever else you’d like to include it. The vector file is especially important since .pdf or .png files can blur out small details—many of which appear on the front of your booklet or in the Welcome Letter that greets your patients.
If you have custom content that you’d like to add – We understand that your agency’s needs are unique and specific. In fact, so much so that they sometimes warrant an extra subsection in the inner contents of the booklet, or, in some cases, a new form entirely. We’re happy to add this content to your booklet, however, before we do, we may offer its MedForms equivalent, as we do not monitor any custom content for regulatory updates and any changes to this content will have to come directly from your agency. The reason for this is that each agency can meet regulations in a different way, save for a few circumstances. Sometimes, a form does not have a MedForms equivalent—in those cases, we’re happy to build your custom form for you. Of course, if you’d like to see MedForms’ in-house options before you add any custom content, please let us know, and we’d be happy to check for you!
Before you reorder – To make the editorial process more efficient, we recommend including all files of changes you’d like to make on the initial reorder form. For forms and flyers, include a high-resolution PDF (.pdf). For content that you’d like to add as a subsection, we recommend a .docx format. And, of course, for logos and other graphics, we recommend that vector file. When you attach these upon reorder, the Editor already has everything they need to update your booklet completely before sending you the first proof. This way, the Editor doesn’t encounter delays by asking for that custom content, or asking for it in a different format. Then, you can review your booklet with all updates just one time before approval.
We’d love to collaborate with you so that you can make the best decisions while customizing your booklet. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call us at (615) 386-6320.
